Hey everyone! My name is Kayla and I am the owner of The Local Collective. TLC opened in January of 2017 in West Bend. Since then we have moved to a new, great location in downtown Hartford. We offer great handmade items from over 120 local makers and artists all under our roof. We also host workshops and classes here about 2-6 times a month in our new workshop space. One of the biggest goals is to let our customers know the importance of investing in small businesses like us, and to shop local. Our items are not only offered at The Local Collective but in several other locations as well. I am happily married to a man named Darrell. We have been together since 2007 and still loving our adventure together. We have our son Rhett, who is our main sales man at the shop. He can upsell anything because he’s truthful about what he loves, did I mention he’s only 5?! He is the biggest blessing in our lives! I also love a good cup of coffee, blaring my music loud enough I can’t hear myself sing, always love a good laugh, going camping, going to church, and enjoying time with my family and friends.
